The Phoenix Museum of History has four layers of Board membership. Each position is nominated by a member of the board, museum, or community, is elected by the board, and confirmed by the museum membership. All levels of membership serve as Ambassadors to the museum, and are encouraged to support the museum and attend fund raising events.

Board of Trustees
• Voting Position.
• Requires three (3) year term commitment.
• Must attend bi-monthly meetings.
• Minimum annual monetary and/or in-kind donation.

Board of Governors
• Non-Voting Position.
• Requires three (3) year term commitment.
• Meeting attendance not required, but encouraged.
• Minimum annual monetary and/or in-kind donation.

Board of Advisors
• Non-Voting Position.
• Requires three (3) year term commitment.
• Meeting attendance not required, but encouraged.
• No annual monetary and/or in-kind donation required.

Honorary Board Member
• Awarded position in recognition of distinguished service or outstanding contributions of monetary, in-kind, or artifact/archival donations to the museum.
